As seen on the home page, we are 0.5 miles to the water/beach and in walking distance of 4 other beaches.   If trying a new beach every day of your trip isn't enough for you, we are in the center of South Yarmouth's attractions and dining.   Grocery, shopping and laundery is within 1 mile of needed.

Make sure to ask us for a local coupon book, we mail them out to all renters who request them.

MINI-GOLF HAVEN:  If you have kids or you are a kid at heart, S Yarmouth is the mini-golf capital of Cape Cod.  Two of the best mini-golf places are a stones throw from the cottage, including our favotire Pirates Cove.

 

ZOOQUARIUM: On a rainy day, we would highly suggest the Zooquarium which is a combination zoo and aquarium, just like the name implies.  This too is in South Yarmouth. 

 

SHOPPING:  Hundreds of shops abound.  Among them The Christmas Tree Shop.

 

Note: the Cape cod mall is located in ajoining Hyannis. 

 

DINING: We would recommend the Hearth and Kettle, Pancake Man, Incredible Chessecake, and Bass River Pizza.  Kreme and Cone also have the best deals on fried seafood.  A ton of reviews of other spots.

 

TRIPS TO THE ISLANDS: Ferries to the islands are located about 10 miles away in neighboring Hyannis.

 

LIBRARY AND FREE WI-FI:  The local library just added free WI-FI if you need an internet fix, plus they have passes to many local activites.  Might be worth a stop.
